I thought this months update would be on the smaller side but it turns out I was WRONG! I ended up actually making something... ... Using a dialogue manager plugin made by someone else. But if it works, it works. It's not perfect, of course, as I need to implement the text sound and speaker images.
The website has recieved updates again so now it has JAY in the cast section. The comics page is also now there, and I am open to taking submissions. Think of it like... fanmade gumb and fishlimbs. If you ever need the sprites to make one just ask me : 3
I may open up the Q&A form finally so I can get a feel for writing dialogue and so I can draw some sprites, but that's for me to worry about next year. There's still a lot to learn, but this is probably the best it's looked for HOTELTALE in a while.

It is time again for a little status update : 3
This month I focused on finding my footing and did sprites for most of the major cast. You can check them out right now on the CAST page which features a new STANO sprite and the introduction of GRACE to the page. I have made more than that but they will come in the future, I can't just release everything at once I gotta keep dragging it. I've got a busy two weeks coming up so i've no clue how much will be done by the December update but I promise all you will want for Christmas is HOTELTALE (and to not hear it.)
There's been more background work done like writing dialog and story/character stuff, but that's lame because it isn't sprites so I won't bore you with it. Just know, if my plans come to fruition HOTELTALE will have at least 64 endings.

First off, I will fully acknowledge that I am doing everything but just making the damn game, but I've seen other undertale fan projects make a website for their stuff so I figured I could do the same... cuz its cool. As for HOTELTALE's game progress, it has been very minimal. I still don't know Godot but I'm hoping through making this site I can motivate myself to get stuff done, to meet deadlines and enjoy the feeling of sharing what I've accomplished. That's why monthly updates may work best.

I know some of you may think HOTELTALE is a completely ridiculous idea, and I mean it is but it's also a fun idea and I want to see it through. So I hope you can see my vision. Even if no one really cares I'll keep these updates going because it's more fun to share it with you, so thank you.
